Vermifiltration is a treatment method that combines the conventional filtration processes with the vermicomposting techniques. It is a process for treatment of waste water using a simple, decentralized, environment friendly method using minimal energy. Sam Fine O Chem Ltd. has installed this Bio filter in its premises having a capacity of treating 10,000 lit. water/day, wherein company’s waste water from sinks and toilets is treated with vermifiltration technology and this treated water is further used for gardening purpose.
